FOURQUES CASTLE : WINERY WALK AS SEASONS GO BY

Some stories, Lise has many to talk about when she will welcome you, in the middle of vines and hills overhanging Montpellier !

The 50 hectares of Fourques Castle expand at the gates of Montpellier.
This family domain is passed from woman to woman over 5 generations now. Today, that’s Lise, the shinning fifty years old who is the master of orchestra of the domain, helped by her daughter Jeanne, 23 years old.

Surrounded with a strong professional united team, Fourques Castle offers white, red and rosé wines from an exceptional vineyard, but also wine declinations : vinegar grape varieties, wine confits, etc.

The walk will begin in the middle of vines : the time to tell you more about the history of this exploitation and to explain the specifities of different types of wines. You will then join the winery to discover more about the vinification and you will then taste wines directly from the tank, before it reveals all its potential.

Furthermore, you go to the wine boutique to have a playful tasting where all your senses will be awakened ; you might compare the flavours and savours of vintages bottling and ready to taste, with brut tank wines tasted previously.
The tasting will be accompanied by some local specialities to eat, in accordance with our wines.

Each season, nature is different : each visit is therefore unique ! Don’t hesitate to come back, you will always be welcomed.

Formula for 2 persons : 60€ including the walk, the tasting, 2 bottles of wine
Minimum of participants : 2 persons (in case of an insufficient amount of participants, the walk would be cancelled. You will be warned 48 hours before by email).

Transport access : Tram – Line 1 and 3 – stop at Mosson / Bus – Line 25 direction Juvignac – stop at Les Eglantiers.
Visits are possible in english.
